Justice Department & Apostille

 

Any Federal Court Judgment documents issued from any of the United States District Courts will first need certification from The Justice Department (see image with the red ribbon & seal) in Washington DC before it can be Apostilled or Authenticated by the U.S Department of State Authentication office (see first image).

 

Document that can be certify by the Justice Department are:

  • Petition for Name Change
  • U.S District Court Documents
  • U.S Bankruptcy Court documents
  • U.S Supreme Court documents
